The Itinerary

Your experience starts at Bern-Belp Airport, where our FunFlights team welcomes you at the agreed meeting point. Before departure, you receive a short safety briefing and have time to get comfortable in the helicopter.

Once airborne, the landscape quickly changes from the surroundings of Bern to the green foothills of the Bernese Oberland. The helicopter heads towards the Stockhorn range, giving you an impressive perspective of the mountains and valleys below.

One of the highlights is the flight along Lake Thun. From your seat in the helicopter, the lake stretches beneath you like a blue ribbon, surrounded by picturesque towns, villages and mountains.

The route continues past the historic Spiez Castle, beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Thun, and towards Oberhofen Castle, another of the region’s most recognisable landmarks.

Looking south, the panorama opens towards the Bernese Alps. On suitable days with good visibility, you can admire the spectacular peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau rising behind the surrounding mountains.

For the return flight, the route may lead through the tranquil Justistal and across the characteristic countryside of the Emmental, offering an entirely different perspective of the region.

After approximately 26 minutes in the air, the helicopter returns to Bern-Belp Airport. Following the safe landing, you receive a FunFlights souvenir and can download photographs of your flight free of charge.

Take to the skies and experience the Bernese Oberland from a perspective reserved for helicopter passengers.
